Special topics courses in theory and analysis are developed to cover emerging issues or specialized content not represented in the existing music curriculum. These upper-level explorations of highly specialized subject matter and content vary from semester to semester. Students cannot repeat an individual section of a special topics course, but they can register for other sections.
